The Saskatchewan Equine Expo has been thrilling audiences since its first annual show in 2012
There was an urgent need within the province’s horse industry for a quality event that would showcase the “best of the best“ in equine health, technology and horsemanship. The Prairieland Agriculture Department, along with the Saskatchewan Horse Federation and the Western College of Veterinary Medicine, took up the challenge and created the Saskatchewan Equine Expo, which has become known for being equally entertaining and educational.
Our motto is Celebrating Equine Diversity. From our informative lecture series to our live demonstrations, and from our feature presentations to our equine-focused tradeshow, we make every effort to highlight the distinct nature of the horse industry in Saskatchewan.
Trainers, coaches, veterinarians and horse lovers of all kinds, will gather at Prairieland in Saskatoon to immerse themselves in a 4-day equine spectacle. Whether they are amateurs or professionals, long-time owners or new to the industry, there is literally something for everyone.
Participants and spectators alike will experience a wide range of new products and services and witness the latest technological advances. Outstanding horsemen and women take to the show ring to display various breeds, demonstrate best training techniques and entertain with their breathtaking riding skills.
The Saskatchewan Equine Expo is located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, at the heart of the traditional territory of Treat 6 First Nations and the Homeland of the Metis.
